It is hard to imagine the activities of Krakow in cultural tourism, business or creative industries without its involvement in international cooperation networks. In order to manage culture at the highest level, we share our knowledge and good practices with other cities and organisations that – just like us – don’t like to stand still. We inspire each other, draw upon the experiences of others, exchange know-how, and we do our best to help each other. Our mission is not only to be an active member in existing networks, but also to create new opportunities and international relations. We want to fuel innovation and creativity of the residents of Krakow, build their cultural capital, and strengthen local identity. To do that, we need a cultural institution that listens carefully to the voices of the audience of its activities. That is, however, not all. We are convinced that a good cultural institution goes beyond its local area – it strives to ensure that the city is present on the international cultural map and cooperates with international partners, while remaining open to experiences from other countries and following global trends.
The KBF is definitely such an institution. Check out the networks we are a part of!
