A good script is the key to cinematic success, so honing the skill of writing one is essential. The Screenwriting Atelier is an annual cycle of workshops on writing scripts for feature films, aimed at scriptwriters and directors. Participants work on their texts with experts from the film industry providing professional advice. As well as writing workshops, events include master classes and lectures on topics such as copyright, negotiation and communication skills and working with producers. The programme culminates with a presentation of scripts to the Polish film industry in collaboration with the New Horizons International Film Festival. The Kraków Film Commission is a partner of the Screenwriting Atelier.
