Bach, Buxtehude, Purcell, Vivaldi, Pergolesi – we listen to some of the most fascinating masterpieces composed between the Middle Ages and the18th century performed by world-renowned ensembles and soloists.
One of the most important early music festivals in Europe, Misteria Paschalia is held every year during Holy Week. So far, every edition has been dedicated to selected European cultural circles, with leading artist-in-residence including Vincent Dumestre, John Butt and Antonio Florio. In 2023, we celebrated the 20th anniversary edition of Misteria Paschalia.
The programme recalls Christian sources of European spirituality and traditions. The festival works in collaboration with the French TV channel Mezzo, which brings the concerts to over 60 million viewers in 60 countries!
