The Kraków UNESCO City of Literature’s Writing School has been attracting budding authors for many years – as well as being an opportunity to try their hand in the literary world, it also includes meetings with acclaimed writers and editors to learn about how they work. Each programme lasts a year and is split into two semesters; over the years it has included classes and weekend workshops in writing reportages, short stories, essays, poetry, book reviews and many other literary forms.
Recurring workshop hosts include Małgorzata Rejmer, Jacek Dehnel, Roma Ligocka, Prof. Bogdan de Barbaro, Łukasz Orbitowski, Jakub Żulczyk and Marek Bieńczyk.
