Oscar nominations and successes enjoyed by Polish documentaries at film festivals around the world show that Poland is a leader in the field! The trend is recognised by the Władysław Ślesicki Film Foundation and the Kraków Film Festival: together with the KBF and the Kraków Film Commission, they founded DOC LAB POLAND, Poland’s leading programme developing, promoting and presenting documentaries.
Past sessions have resulted in the production of over 40 films and almost 200 co-production projects from Poland and abroad. DOC LAB POLAND is also an opportunity for producers and directors to build networks with potential co-producers, distributors, sales agents and festival selectors through hundreds of individual meetings held each year.
