Have a you ever sat down on a bench in Planty Park and spotted a mysterious plaque with a name and a QR code? Of course you have! But have you ever tried scanning the code? Go on, give it a try! The City Codes project brings Cracovian authors to the city space via plaques linking to archival materials. Use your mobile device to scan the QR code – it will take you straight to the website introducing the author commemorated by the given bench and featuring excerpts from their writings as text or audio. The page also includes an interactive map showing all benches included in the project and some of the most important literary destinations in Kraków.
