ICE Classic is a unique cycle of classical music concerts. The ICE Kraków Congress Centre is a spectacular venue in the capital of Małopolska; able to hold up to 2000 people, it is fitted with state-of-the-art technologies and provides superior acoustics. All concerts of the cycle are presented at the Krzysztof Penderecki Auditorium.
The ICE Classic cycle hosts some of the greatest classical musicians working today. So far, we have heard opera soloists Aleksandra Kurzak, Edita Gruberova, Diana Damrau and Elīna Garanča, the counter-tenor Philippe Jaroussky, instrumentalists Anne-Sophie Mutter, Isabelle Faust, Ivo Pogorelić and Piotr Anderszewski and the acclaimed composer Max Richter.
Conductors who have appeared at ICE Kraków include Kent Nagano leading the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Sir Simon Rattle with the London Symphony Orchestra and Philippe Herreweghe performing with the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées.
